Student Testimonials
Why I Coach...
There is a wonderful word in Hebrew, Hineni, which means "Here I Am!" This has become my mantra not only as an actor, but as a teacher. All my students deserve to feel confident in the authenticity they bring to a role, and audition, and the room.
My philosophy is rooted in the belief that imagination should be explored in all its facets, inspired by my hero, Jim Henson. Like Henson, I believe that theatre is not only a form of entertainment but also a medium for conveying meaningful ideas. This is the mindset I instill in my students, encouraging them to embrace the artist’s vision as an extension of a story meant to be shared and absorbed by an audience. I’ve never been afraid to take risks, think outside the box, or tell stories that challenge expectations, and I inspire my students to do the same.
In addition to fostering creativity, I am committed to promoting inclusion in the theatre. It is vital to me that no one—regardless of their background, race, gender, or abilities—feels excluded from auditioning or participating in the creative process. I work to create an environment where every student feels invited to the table and empowered to bring their unique perspectives to the stage, screen, and classroom.
